Tex joined T. J. Maodi Incorporated in September 2011 as a result of an agreement we had with the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) where paralegals needed to have practical experience before their National Diploma in Legal Assistance (Paralegal) can be awarded. Tex successfully completed this diploma. After the practical period lapsed, he was permanently employed by T. J. Maodi Incorporated.
Tex is always looking to better himself and this he has done by completing in 2015 a certificate namely “the Introduction to Corporate Governance”. In 2017 completed another certificate called “Programme in knowledge Management”. Both certificates were achieved through University of South Africa (UNISA). He was in the meantime still doing his L.lb degree with Unisa too. This he completed in 2019. On the 05th of October 2020, he registered his articles with the Legal Practice Council of South Africa. On the 2nd of February 2023, Tex was admitted as Legal Practitioner (Attorney) of the High Court in South Africa.
Tex further holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Management.
Initially Tex was a call centre agent, whereafter he was promoted to lead the call centre section for one of our clients. In the year 2017 he was promoted to client manager and in the beginning of 2018, he was again promoted to be the office’s consultant. Currently he is one of our attorneys (professional assistant). Today Tex acts not only as an attorney for the collection side of the office (he is an expert collector and collections strategist), but he also is involved in civil litigation. In addition to this, he is also involved with planning, personnel, finances and reports only to the Directors.
